A Moltov cocktail is a dangerous weapon made using a flammable liquid such as gasoline, alcohol, or napalm.

The liquid is typically poured into a bottle or other container with a cloth wick attached, then lit and thrown. Upon impact, the container breaks and the liquid is dispersed, setting everything nearby on fire.

Moltov cocktails were first used by the Italian resistance during World War II. They were named after the Russian partisan leader, Moltov, who developed the weapon.
