The Arnold Palmer is a cocktail made from iced tea and lemonade. It is named after American golfer Arnold Palmer. 

The drink was invented in the early 1960s by Palmer and his friend and golfing partner, PGA Tour commissioner, George H.W. Bush. Palmer and Bush were at the golf course and ran out of iced tea. Palmer asked for a lemonade and Bush added tea to it. They liked the drink and began ordering it at country clubs.
